Annual Sports and Cultural Meet 2023 | Morning Program | Jan 11, 2023

This morning, at the Sri Sathya Sai Hill View stadium, the Annual Sports and Cultural Meet was inaugurated with the procession welcoming Bhagawan, which was followed by the grand march past ceremony. Students from the schools and all campuses of the university marched, with the brass bands from the different campuses and the bagpiper band from the Primary School played for the marching squads. The first campus to make its offering this morning was the Anantapur Campus. With mesmerising formations and a thrilling display of motorbike stunts, they enthralled the audience. The Prasanthi Nilayam campus and the Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School followed next. The stunning, massive structure of an image of Hanuman revealing the presence of Lord Rama and Mother Sita in the recesses of his heart set the stage for their offering which was a blend of gymnastics, martial arts and a Cricket presentation. The final offering was made by the Muddenahalli Campus. The colourful formations with umbrellas, a well-coordinated display with basketballs and precise formations marked this final presentation. The students, in all, made a brilliant presentation, a heartfelt offering to their beloved Swami. Here are a few glimpses from this morning’s event.
