With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the ’Space on Wheels' mobile exhibition was welcomed in Prasanthi Nilayam by Sri RJ Rathnakar (Managing Trustee, SSSCT) and Dr Prof CB Sanjeevi (Vice Chancellor, SSSIHL). Designed creatively, it has in it models of space launch vehicles (ASLV, PSLV, GSLV), satellites (polar and geostationary), satellite trajectories, the Moon and Mars missions and so on. The exhibition that’s parked near Sai Bhakta Nivas is now open for devotees & students. It is a unique outreach initiative of Indian Space Research Organisation to create awareness in students and general public about Indian Space Programmes. There are 4 such vehicles operating in India (Ahmedabad, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka & Kerala) that carries mobile exhibits of IRS, Chandrayan (Moon mission) Mangalyaan (Mars mission), and Gaganyan (Space mission).
