Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam ever brings in the highest feeling of Love reminding folks around the supreme significance of gratitude. On these twin qualities, He said once, that one’s life should be an expression of Love n’ Gratitude. Come February-March Prasanthi Nilayam comes in with salient reminders of gratitude, with the passing out batches of students from the educational institutions line up offering gratitude programmes.
Commencing this year’s gratitude season on 13th February, the passing out batches of 10th and 12th divisions of Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School boys presented the first offering that was followed by the respective girls’ wing on the next day. 10th division batch of mixed students of Smt Easwaramma High School followed suit on 15th February.
From the heart to The Heart, little soul to The Soul, expressions on that beautiful evening had many an experience from ‘hearts-many’, interspersed with melodic beauties, serenading Beloved Mother Sai. Standing up erect, tall and elegant, facing The Lord face-to -Face, these confident hearts confided their Love filled with gratitude expressing telling tales of momentous moments with Beloved Mother Sai, narrated in vernaculars.
‘Every moment You stay as our breath, our life!’ sung these grateful hearts making their special evening a virtual ‘Prema Prasanthi Vahini’. Intoning gratitude, they said with greater conviction echoing, ‘you have made us not just at par with the rest, but a cut above the rest.’ Truly, Sri Sathya Sai Institutions reflect the glory unlimited of The Supreme Divinity and the evening stood testimony to this revealing truth. The prgoramme that was titled ‘Teri Jyoti Ka Vistaar Hoon Mein…’ had narrations, dances, instrumentals and songs as offering at The Supreme Lotus Feet.
Girl students from SSSHSS followed next, on 14th February, presenting their heart-Heart offering with love and dedication. The programme was composed with passionate feelings interspersed with musicals.
The school that had its inception at the Divine Hands precisely on 10th June 2010 has it 10th batch appearing the CBSE exams in the coming days. Expressing gratitude galore these children, mainly from in and around Puttaparthi and surrounding villages, opened up singing ‘Teri Yaad Hum Ko Aathi Hey Maa…’ calling Him to come, asking for His priceless Divine Hug. How otherwise aimless souls around were shown the light, guiding steps, moulding them slow and steady into what they are now, becoming now, was expressed vide a small skit. Principal Sri Sivaramakrishnaiah spoke a few words at the end, calling on the metamorphosis happened over a decade. 48 students are ready for the final leap this year, the first complete batch that started the journey in 2010. Toppers of last year were felicitated next, for the brilliant academic achievement. The winners were Sai Yeshwanth, K. Sai Nithyasri and B. Bharat.
Bhajans next ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
